OUR SOLDIER, Sgt. John 'Ricky' McKenzie

Sherman Oaks, CA. March 8, 2007 - Our soldier, Sgt. John 'Ricky' McKenzie, flew in town for a brief respite from his war assignment in Iraq.  A surprise gathering was held at the Sherman Oaks Hospital & Grossman Burn Center.  Present were Jim Pietsch, Beth Celo, Ronald Yuson, Chris Clauss, Frank Chan, Tina Sanchez and Michael De Guzman. 

Ricky shared with us his experience from Iraq and how the soldiers are trying their best to complete their mission in a very challenging and dangerous environment. 

We are also proud to share that Ricky was featured in the Anaconda Times.  It best describes what he is currently contributing to the Iraqi effort.  See below link to full article. 

After a brief two week vacation, Ricky is returning to Iraq to complete his last six months tour of duty.  We would like to have him back to continue doing his civilian duty as a healthcare provider in the community of Southern California. 

Kudos to you Ricky and to all of the great soldiers of peace and democracy!
